Zip's Tips: Get an Extra Star

To get an extra star you must first understand what it means. Here's how the Star rating is calculated: First all the skills of your 9 man roster are added together. This means the skills of your bench players DO NOT EFFECT the star rating. The other important thing to know is that the pitcher's pitching skill is the only pitching skill that is counted in the star rating. In other words if your first baseman has pitching skill it won't be counted. The sum of all the skills of your 9 man roster are then divided by 9 - then rounded to a single digit to make your star rating.

Now that you know how the Star rating works, now lets talk about how to get an extra star:

The lower your star rating the easier it is to get an extra star. So, to go from 3* to 4* is way easier than going from 8* to 9*. In both cases the way to do it is to know the WEAKEST skills of each of your players. For both the DT and ST, sort for each skill. Take the lowest players and train them in those skills. I would a full pie to get those low skills up. Over several training sessions, keep training the weakest skills of your players - soon you will see that extra star!

Hope this helps!
